Relationship break-ups & injunctions

If a couple wishes to separate but not to divorce, then we recommend a separation agreement to help protect of their rights under Jersey law. These are binding contracts, which will assist in the event of future divorce proceedings.

We can also advise cohabiting couples about their rights under Jersey law in the event of a break-up, including those in same sex relationships.

Finally, we can obtain injunctions where there is a serious dispute between a separating couple.
