Michael Price
Michael was born in England, but has lived in Jersey since the early 70s. He was appointed as Executive Deputy Chairman of Vivat Trust in March 2008 having retired as Chairman and previously as a Managing Director at Close Wealth Management (part of the Close Brothers Group) with overall responsibility for offshore Trustee Services.
Before joining Close, Michael was Group Head of Trust for SG Hambros and a director of SG Hambros Private Bank. He has more than 25 years senior management experience within the finance industry and has lectured extensively on Trust related issues in Europe and North America. He is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
Michael is a non-executive director with a private equity firm and an investment management monitoring company and is a personal trustee for a UK cancer charity. He is married with four adult children and enjoys sailing when time allows.
