Corporate social responsibility

Engaging with the local community through charitable and voluntary work is something that we care about at Viberts. Our staff select charities to support each year through fund raising initiatives. Currently we are working with:

Brighter Futures http://www.brighterfutures.org.je

Brighter Futures is a Jersey charity which works in partnership with Parenting Support Services to meet the needs of families and young people.

British Heart Foundation https://www.bhf.org.uk

The nation’s heart charity and the largest independent funder of cardiovascular research. Helping to transform the lives of people living with heart and circulatory conditions.

FOJO was formed to raise funds for the purchase of non-States provided equipment and services for the Jersey Oncology Unit. These funds will provide additional care, comfort and support for the Units patients, families and loved ones.

A Charitable Trust to support current and past students and education in Jersey. The Foundation raises awareness of JCG within the local, national and international community. The Foundation is run as a separate entity to the College itself and provides an overarching organisation for all aspects of the alumni both now and in the future.

Jersey Women’s Refuge http://www.jerseywomensrefuge.org/home

A safe house where women who experience domestic abuse can move in and have space to think clearly about their situation, or just pop in to talk to a support worker in confidence.

The Company of Dogs http://www.thecompanyofdogsjersey.org

Helping to improve the lives of dogs in Jersey which are homeless through no fault of their own.

We are also heavily involved in local community work for JACS, The Chamber of Commerce HR Committee, The Jersey Consumer Council and Jersey Heritage.

Brig-y-don Children’s Charity http://www.brig-y-don.org

Brig-y-Don Children’s Charity is a small, independent Jersey charity that provides support to children and young people living in care, leaving care or who are deemed to be vulnerable. All money raised by Brig-y-Don Children’s Charity stays in Jersey for the benefit of Island residents.
