People, Operations and Payroll Co-Ordinator

Key responsibilities
- Assisting with our monthly payroll.
- Keeping HR admin tidy, accurate and compliant.
- Preparing contracts of employment, writing letters and general correspondence.
- Coordinating recruitment - screening CVs and arranging interviews.
- Supporting onboarding, induction and training.
- Presenting information and helping deliver internal updates.
- Being the first point of contact for people, culture and operational tasks.
- General administration, calendar scheduling and ad hoc operational tasks across HR, reception, facilities and knowledge management.
- Acting with absolute confidentiality and discretion at all times.
Qualifications and experience
- 2-3 years’ experience in HR/Operations or a similar support role.
- Ideally have a CIPD level 3 qualification or equivalent.
- Hands‑on payroll experience essential.
- Strong literacy, numeracy and organisational skills.
- Basic knowledge of employment legislation.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional approach.
- Someone who thinks on their feet and uses good judgement.
- Comfortable interviewing and supporting the hiring process.
- Confident presenting.
- A naturally discreet, trustworthy and approachable style.
