Overview
Emily qualified as a Scottish solicitor in 2013 and in the 7 years since then Emily’s career has involved principally commercial work, but also general private client matters and regular court appearances before Aberdeen Sheriff Court where Emily dealt with a breadth of disputes from claims, evictions, and even family matters.
Before moving to Jersey, Emily worked for two multi-discipline firms with an emphasis on commercial property and also a smaller practice where she worked on her specialism for commercial agreements and in particular commercial property. Such work included advising and drafting in relation to leasing, licenses, assignments, sub-leases, rent reviews and variations. Emily has also dealt with collateral warranties, planning obligation agreements; development agreements; and a wide array of related matters.
Outside of work Emily enjoys spending time outdoors and cooking for friends and family.
