Trainee Conveyancer

Viberts is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Conveyancer to join its busy property team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to build a career in conveyancing within a well-established and respected law firm. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience across a broad range of residential and commercial property transactions, supported by experienced professionals.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting fee earners with all aspects of conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, and leases.
- Preparing legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
- Conducting property searches and due diligence checks.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other third parties.
- Managing files and maintaining accurate records in line with regulatory requirements.
- Supporting the team with administrative tasks as required.
- Developing knowledge of local property law and conveyancing procedures.
Skills and experience
- Strong academic background (A-levels or equivalent required; legal studies beneficial but not essential).
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Professional and client-focused approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
