Fred Fillieul

Fred joined Viberts in July 2023 and works as a Trainee English Solicitor in the Dispute Resolution team. 

Fred works alongside our Court Advocates and manages all aspects of case preparation,  including: drafting of witness statements, schedules of loss, position statements, skeleton arguments and inter-parties’ correspondence.

His work spans a wide range of matters with a focus on commercial litigation, including: 

• Contentious trust matters – acting on behalf of Trustees and Beneficiaries.
• Construction disputes.
• Contentious probate matters – including légitme and rapport a la masse.
• Debt recovery.

He also has experience in dealing with personal injury and clinical negligence claims. 

Fred graduated from university in July 2023 with a First-Class degree in Sociology and Criminology. He subsequently completed the PGDL at the University of Law in July 2025, achieving a distinction, and is currently undertaking the Solicitors Qualifying Examinations.
