Beverley was one of Jersey's most respected advocates, dedicating more than four decades to the legal profession. Throughout her distinguished career, she earned an outstanding reputation for her fortitude, intellect, integrity, and unwavering commitment to justice. She was admired not only for her exceptional legal expertise, but also for her generosity in mentoring colleagues, her enormous legal wisdom, and her thoughtful approach to clients.

Beverley commenced her career as a Barrister in London, before moving to Jersey and she established her reputation as one of Jersey’s most capable advocates when leading the Commercial Litigation Department at Mourants. She founded Lacey Advocates in 2013 where she successfully conducted some exceptionally high profile cases. In recent years, Beverley joined Viberts bringing with her a wealth of experience and expertise. She quickly became a valued member of the firm, sharing her extensive knowledge, supporting her colleagues, and continuing to provide an outstanding service to her clients.

Beyond her many professional achievements, Beverley will be remembered for her kindness, quiet determination, and the genuine concern she showed to all those around her. Her influence on the legal profession in Jersey, and on the many people fortunate enough to work alongside her, will endure for years to come.
